Professional experience prior to joining Aria
Prior to joining Aria - I have worked in a CA firm which helped me gain end to end exposure in the following:
• Provided Consultancy to various entities on matters relating to Direct and Indirect taxation, Tax Planning, and Corporate Law matters.
• Planned and monitored a team of 3 for audit programs for multiple statutory and direct tax audits, as per the standards of auditing and relevant laws applicable to the company. Assisted in finalization aspects.
• Preparation of General and Tax Accounts, Financial Statements and Computations, Returns and Reports of multifarious entities for submission to various authorities including Tax authorities.
• Collated cash flows and various management information reports after analyzing financials and various systems & controls in place, for the effective management of company resources.
• Streamlined the compliance requirements of clients and managed their periodic filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs as per the New Companies Act, 2013.

I work in strengthening the financial and operational backbone of our clients. My areas of expertise include Internal audit, Budgeting, Funding analysis, Policy making, Webinars, Setting systems and processes for clients.

1. Managing end to end CFO functions for Non-Profits.
2. Capacity building and managing the client's onsite finance team

6. Liaising with the auditor for all statutory filings
What part of your work do you enjoy the most?
The part where we get to visit the client and interact with the beneficiaries and know the impact we are creating - form the most cherished memories.
What draws you to the social / development sector?
I see my role not just as managing numbers, but as ensuring that resources are accountable, transparent, and aligned with the mission. Working in the sector has helped us connect to a purpose in our life. Working on the financial health of the Non-Profits has made us very much a part of the organizations social mission.
One thing you enjoy outside of work
I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, interior & personal styling and finding ways to contributing to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
