Professional experience prior to joining Aria
Prior to joining Aria, I was associated with renowned Indian CA firms Like Manaubhai and Shah LLP and KKC and Associates LLP, into Statutory Audits and Transfer Pricing Domain. Industries worked on include Manufacturing of Plastic and Alloys, Paints and Textiles; Trading sector including trading of whole grains, pharma products and life sciences products. I was also associated with EisnerAmper India for a brief period working into US Audits, mainly into Hedge Funds, Real Estate Private Equity, REITS and HUDs.
Areas of Expertise
Strengthening the financial systems and processes, streamlining the financial records and wherever there have been lapses, investigating and getting into the roots of the problem to eliminate the shortfalls.
What are your primary focus areas or responsibilities at Aria?
Providing consultancy and guidance pertaining to Financial Reporting and Compliances from time to time, help the clients in setting up robust Finance and Accounts Functions and capacity building.
What part of your work do you enjoy the most?
Where there is a requirement of deep diving into the subject matter, getting things right from compliance angle form various statutes
What draws you to the social / development sector?
The various gaps pertaining to Finance Function that lies into this crucial sector, giving me an opportunity for problem solving also taking into consideration, the moral and social aspect.
One thing you enjoy outside of work
Reading journals, articles and books pertaining to defence, including advancement in technologies in modern warfare, and geo-politics. Also, I like to watch and play cricket and listen to House Music and EDM
