What are your primary focus areas or responsibilities at Aria?
At Aria, my primary responsibilities include preparing final accounts from trial balances, performing reconciliations, and passing adjusting journal entries in Xero. I manage a portfolio of around 12 clients in coordination with the UK onshore team, support audit requirements by resolving auditor queries, and assist in preparing annual reports for reporting and compliance purposes.
What part of your work do you enjoy the most?
What I enjoy most is bringing structure and clarity to financial work, especially when reconciling accounts and finalizing reports. It’s genuinely satisfying to solve problems, support clients through smooth reporting, and know that the numbers I deliver help people make confident decisions.
What draws you to the social / development sector?
I’m drawn to the social and development sector because it combines purpose with impact. Knowing that strong financial systems and transparent reporting can directly support meaningful work on the ground motivates me, and I find it fulfilling to contribute to organizations that create real change.
One thing you enjoy outside of work
Outside of work, I enjoy writing poetry, painting, and travelling, especially discovering stories and culture through new places.
