How wonderful it is that nobody needs to wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

Read what Ravi and Ritu have to say about their journey as niche service providers to the development sector.

"It hit me that there was a huge gap in the services that were being provided and the need of the hour. We are a robust team of 4 Chartered Accountants plus semi- qualified staff with a collective experience of over 30 years in the areas of finance, budgeting, accounting, income tax - FCRA-GST compliances, internal control process management, international taxation, auditing, and certification," says Ravi.
"Our focus has always been to support the finance, accounting and legal requirements of social enterprises. The perception of charity is changing rapidly.
Founders and entrepreneurs often ignore the need to strengthen their systems before scaling. We aim to free them from the responsibility of having to worry about the finance function," says Ritu.

Read about what Ravi has to say on International Co-working Day, about his experience of working in a shared space
Ravi Bagaria, 31, Chartered Accountant
Ravi Bagaria doesn't hesitate to clarify that he is very much a jeans and T-shirt person, although the picture above reflects otherwise. In 2011, Bagaria started Aria CFO Services, a firm that delivers financial and compliance services to NGOs and social enterprises. He worked out of home initially but when three new members came on board, he realised he had to find a new space. Bagaria began his co-working journey. But, it only went downhill from there. "I've shifted across five different spaces in Mumbai. It is only after you settle with one that you begin to understand what is not working for you," he says. A place at Kamala Mills wasn't compliant with BMC's fire safety norms. He filed a complaint, and 15 days later, a fire had already broken out. Bagaria has now found a safe space in Worli, where the team has four dedicated desks.
WORKING TIP: Bagaria advocates greater research and maintains that the set-up is a great alternative for small teams. He explains, "Co-working has made me more disciplined. Now, I ensure I leave my professional life behind when I leave the desk. Even clients have learnt to respect my timelines."

Read about our Founder, Ravi Bagaria, and how he broke free from the clutter of the 9 to 5.
Ravi Bagaria, 30, is a chartered accountant, but, even as an intern at a major accounting firm, he knew that he would have problems fitting in. Bagaria decided to go on his own because he hates the ethics of big companies. And if he feels like shutting down his computer at 4pm on, say next Wednesday and go and photograph a beautiful sunset, or sketch, or play the guitar, he wants to be able to do just that.
"Which company gives you creative freedom? And what kind of social impact are you making. You do what you are told to, and they have so many questionable practices." Bagaria, a pleasantly chubby man with smiling eyes, exclusively advises non-profits and social enterprises through his little firm, Aria Advisory, and is only available for projects. It was a niche that he spotted and moved into back in 2011. Bagaria says that his time is important to him. "And so is my mental health. I don't want to pretend to be happy and enthusiastic when I'm not. Whenever I see people, especially my peers, hunched over their computers in their offices, I feel like it's such an awful waste of talent."
